One of the most notorious pop musicians of the 2000s will be joining Pokémon Go ever. That person is English songster- tunesmith Ed Sheeran.

The Ed Sheeran HQ Twitter account has revealed that some kind of crossover between the songster and the Pokémon Go mobile game will be coming soon. The game's sanctioned account latterly retweeted it with an eyes emoji, attesting the collaboration.

No other details about this have been revealed, so it's unclear how Ed Sheeran will be in Pokémon Go. The simplest conjecture would be that he wrote and perform some music for the game. Who knows?
