Rolling Into Adventure: A Peek at Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Unique Pokemon Centers

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's alternate caravan revealed new Pokemon, locales, and people — but further especially hints at a implicit gym theme. There's a chance it could be Moto GP rather, but given the heavy vehicle theme we see between the new fabulous Pokemon and in other rudiments, one theme or the other seems likely.

Game Freak isn't shy about leaving hints about forthcoming announcements in its RVs. The first caravan, for illustration, featured four Nintendo Switch on a single table that now serves as a nod to the four- player hutch. Below is our analysis of several screenshots from both the first caravan and the alternate that lead us to believe Pokemon Scarlet and Violet features one of Spain's popular motorsports. And, come on, the fabulous Pokemon literally have machine protruding from their cases.

Fabulous Pokemon Design

At first regard, only Miraidon, Pokemon Scarlet's box fabulous, looks related to technology. In the alternate caravan, we can fluently see Miraidon's spurt machine legs in action and its digitized eyes. Its maw, which could act scales, actually resembles carbon fiber upon near examination. Sure, spurts are mainly made out of carbon fiber, but so are Formula 1 motorcars, due to their superior strength, durability, heat resistance, and implausible light weight. Accordingtomotorsport.com, using carbon fiber for F1 motorcars was a new development in 1981 with the debut of the McLaren MP4/ 1. Before, F1 motorcars were made out of enough much the same paraphernalia as normal motorcars. Though obviously F1 motorcars in our world have machine as average motorcars do, Miraidon also has evolved past the need for them.

Not Koraidon, still. Scarlet's box fabulous looks fully natural, except for, well, the tire sticking out of its casket. Though not functional in its current state, it's not unheard of for Pokemon to have different forms, indeed madly so. Ridable? To further presume, we believe Koraidon could transform into an submarine “ vehicle ” due to its webbed hands and bases, and Miraidon into an upstanding “ vehicle ” of feathers. They could also just be design motifs. Anyhow, they ’re vehicle- related motifs.

A New Kind Of Pokemon Center

These structures appear to replace traditional Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Centers, but they have an easily accessible, each- outside design complete with an eschewal- of- door seating area.

They indeed appear with this design inside cosmopolites but when seen out in the open, they always have pavement around them. They act" gas stations" and could serve as" hole stops" for sick trainers and their Pokemon.

The attendants are nit too clear, but each seems to feature at least two individualities, one who seems to be a nurse Joy with a cap on her pink hair. The blue could represent Poke Mart particulars, red the Pokemon Center, and green could be miscellaneous particulars. Above the service counter is a wraparound screen with announcements for a variety of goods, from trip, to shoes, and. indeed tires.

A Region With. Tire Adverts ?

It's a bit hard to make out, but behind our friend, Nemona, is an advertisement on the far side of one of the Pokemon Center hole stops. drone in to that same advertisement behind her Pawmi to get a broader view. It appears to be an advertisement for a specific brand or type of tire, with a tread design in black and pusillanimous behind the main text.

maybe the Qwilfish charm alludes to the spare grip the tire has on tricky terrain.

Gym Space

Still, also there's a good chance that this proposed F1 theme is going to be featured most prominently in Scarlet and Violet's gyms, If Game Freak follows a similar frame as Pokemon Sword and Shield. In this shot of a large castle megacity, the circled modern structure in the hills stands out not only because of its design, but also its position. F1 racing requires a ton of space. What better place to have an extra-large gym than in the hills right next to the megacity? The screenshot perfectly hides what lies beyond the tall part of the structure. The structure itself seems like it could be small for a gym, but the size could make sense if the structure we see houses the stages that overlook the gym track.

Indeed if the Scarlet and Violet gyms only feature F1 in theme with no factual racing, we ’re still left with a big question why does this region bear so important space for Pokemon battles? Sword and Shield's Gigantamax made use of the height of soccer coliseums, but what handyperson will make use of the space and inferred speed of F1?

The Other Hints

Crossed flags are an iconic symbol for racing. These are shown in the alternate caravan in convergence with what feel to be other mileposts, possibly marking gym locales, or other points of interest.

The alternate caravan also included a reveal of the" full" totem design for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The text ensigns both have prominent borders featuring a profile of their separate fabulous Pokémon and four mysterious symbols. These ensigns, interestingly, look like ornate license plates. Note that the details of the plates( the quarter machine on the top right and left and indeed the pattern of the border) also mimic the design of the fabulous Pokemon. While F1 motorcars don't have license plates, this still keeps with the bus theme.

This theme could be fully off the mark, but why else would Pokemon Centers suddenly look like gas stations? Be sure to let us know your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet propositions below.
